Community-run DayZ server

The Hub — DayZ Chernarus server

Tactical. Hardcore. Unforgiving.

The Hub is a community-run DayZ server built for players who want the survival loop to actually mean something. We run on Chernarus with a hand-tuned loot economy, a moderation team that is genuinely online, and weekly events that pull the server together instead of scattering it.

Why play on The Hub

Plenty of DayZ servers exist. Here is what actually differs on this one — not marketing, just the things we spend our time on.

Active admins

Reports are handled by people, not a bot queue. Tickets on Discord get answered the same day, and decisions are explained rather than dropped.

Custom loot economy

The loot tables are tuned by hand, not left on vanilla defaults. Gear is worth looking for, high-tier items are worth fighting over, and nothing spawns so freely it stops mattering.

Weekly events

Scheduled scenarios every week — convoys, contested drops, timed objectives. Announced on Discord in advance so you can plan a group around them.

Anti-cheat protected

Server-side anti-cheat plus log review. Cheaters are removed, and the ban stays. A wipe-proof economy is worthless if the leaderboard is fake.

The survival loop, restored

Chernarus is the map DayZ was built around, and it is still the one that punishes carelessness best. On The Hub we lean into that rather than sanding it down.

Loot density is set so that a full kit is an achievement rather than a starting condition. Medical items, ammunition and high-tier weapons are deliberately scarce, which turns every encounter into a decision instead of a reflex.

The result is a server where a firefight costs something, where a good group holds territory because it earned it, and where logging in after a week away still feels like walking into a living world.

A server that runs on its community

Everything happens through Discord: event announcements, ticket handling, group recruitment, and the changelog for every economy tweak we push. Linking your Discord and Steam accounts also unlocks the store, your in-game group colour and your personal chat tag.
