Terms of Service

The Hub is a non-commercial, community-run DayZ server. All payments made through this site are voluntary contributions ("donations") intended to support the ongoing hosting, maintenance, and development of the server. They are not the purchase of goods or services with a guaranteed value or entitlement, and the Donor does not become a "customer" in a commercial sense.

At our sole discretion, Donors may receive in-game perks (VIP status, priority queue access, cosmetic customization such as name effects, clan colors, or server tags). These rewards:

• Confer no unfair competitive or pay-to-win advantage (no items, loot, or in-game currency are granted).
• Have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold.
• Are provided strictly as a goodwill gesture in appreciation of your support.
• May be modified, revoked, or discontinued at any time, without prior notice.

Perks are activated automatically once your payment is confirmed and your Discord and Steam accounts are linked on this site. Cosmetic customization (clan color, server tag text) may be subject to review by an administrator before it appears in-game, and a submitted tag may be rejected if it is offensive, impersonates staff, or violates server rules. Failure to link the required accounts before donating may delay or prevent fulfillment.

All donations are final. Refunds are not issued for change of mind, dissatisfaction, or server wipes, updates, resets, or configuration changes. Full details, including the limited exceptions where a refund may be granted, are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Payments are processed by Stripe, an independent third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full card details. By completing a donation, you confirm that you are the authorized holder of the payment method used (or have explicit permission to use it), that all information you provide is accurate, and that you will not initiate a fraudulent dispute or unauthorized chargeback.

Initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal for a donation that was correctly processed and fulfilled — without first contacting us in good faith — is treated as a breach of these Terms. In such cases we reserve the right to:

• Permanently ban the associated Discord and Steam accounts from all servers and services.
• Revoke all perks granted to the account, without compensation.
• Contest the dispute with our payment processor using the evidence available to us.

You must be at least 13 years old to link an account or donate. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to make a donation using their payment method.

Access to the server and its perks is conditional on following the server's rules (available in our Discord). Cheating, exploiting, account sharing/selling, or abusing the donation system to obtain perks fraudulently may result in suspension or permanent termination of access, without refund.

You acknowledge that:

• The server environment is subject to change, including wipes, resets, updates, or shutdowns.
• Donation perks may be affected, removed, or rendered temporarily inaccessible by such changes.
• No guarantee is made regarding the uptime, longevity, or continued availability of the server or any perk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hub, its administrators, and moderators shall not be held liable for loss of data, virtual items, or in-game progress; service interruptions or downtime; or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the server or the donation system.

DayZ® is a trademark of Bohemia Interactive a.s. The Hub is an independent, player-run community server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bohemia Interactive. Branding, graphics, and text original to this site remain the property of The Hub and may not be reproduced outside the server without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the server or this site at any time, with or without cause, and without an obligation to provide compensation or a refund.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site, the server, or the donation system after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
